The Happy Meal “Toys” Have CHANGED at McDonald’s

Leave it to McDonald’s to fuel our childhood nostalgia.

McDonald’s Happy Meal

Sometimes nothing will make you feel more like a kid again than a McDonald’s Happy Meal. We’ve seen McDonald’s release a number of new Happy Meal toys over the past few months including some themed to Mickey and friends, Super Mario Bros., and Black Panther. Now a different set of goodies have arrived at McDonald’s, but be warned — they’re not exactly the “toys” you might be thinking of.

For a limited time, you can grab a McDonald’s Happy Meal that comes with…a fan-favorite children’s book! McDonald’s has partnered with HarperCollins for the next round of Happy Meal toys. If you’re unfamiliar, HarperCollins is the publisher behind childhood story books such as If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, Pete the Cat, Paddington, and more.

It looks like is a sort of revamp of a HarperCollins x McDonald’s partnership that has taken place in the past (Popsugar) though some of the book offerings appear to have changed.

For a limited time, a children’s reader version of some of these books will be included in McDonald’s Happy Meals! The available books include If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Pete the Cat and his Magic Sunglasses, Paddington, If You Take a Mouse to School, and Pete the Cat’s Got Class.
