It’s the most wonderful time of year!
No, we’re not exactly talking about the winter holidays. We’re talking about the period of time where Haunted Mansion transforms into Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland! And luckily, Disney has just extended the overlay’s run.
Nightmare Before Christmas takes over the Haunted Mansion for an even spookier (and playful) ride experience. The overlay opened on September 2nd of this year and it was set to end a week in January.
But now, according to the Disneyland website, the overlay has been extended through January 29th! The ride will officially close and transform back into the classic version on January 30th.
Disney has not announced a date for Haunted Mansion to reopen after the overlay is taken down, but we’ll let you know when that is released.
If you’re heading to Disneyland in January, not only can you ride Haunted Mansion Holiday, but the 100th anniversary celebrations kick off on January 27th, 2023! On top of that, Toontown will be reopening and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has an official opening date.
We’ll keep you updated on more Disneyland news, so stay tuned.

I prefer the classic version. The holiday version stays too long in my opinion.
