New Laser Tech Will Make Movies BETTER at AMC Theater in Disney Springs

There’s a reason some people refer to Disney Springs as Disney World’s fifth theme park: it has so much to do!

There are so many great restaurants, shopping locations, and entertainment offerings that it’s easy to spend a whole day there. One of the things you can do while at Disney Springs is catch a movie at the AMC Theater, and now, thanks to a recent upgrade, your movie-watching experience at this theater is getting an improvement.

AMC has partnered with Cinionic, a company all about improving cinema technology, to bring Laser at AMC to theaters around the country, according to a press release from Cinionic.

Laser at AMC is a new offering that laser projects the movies onto the screen, resulting in improved clarity, better contrast, improved brightness, and more. All in all, it’s designed to make your moviegoing experience better (and more colorful).

AMC Dine-In Theater at Disney Springs

Almost all of the movies at the Disney Springs AMC (except Jaws, which has been re-released in 3-D) are being shown with laser projections, with some having the option to purchase a ticket for a non-laser projection experience, as well. For example, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which has been re-released in theaters with “more fun stuff,” is available today at the Disney Springs AMC in both Laser and Dolby Cinema. Plus, one of the Laser showings for this movie is even 30% off!

Laser at AMC is slowly being rolled out in theaters around the country and the initiative is expected to be completed by 2026.
