New IMMERSIVE Experiences Announced For The D23 Expo

September is about to be a huuuuuuge month for Disney fans!

Why? The D23 Expo will be taking place September 9th-11th, and we’re anticipating some exciting announcements. The expo is packed with reveals of new projects, rides, lands, shows, and more. But it’s not just announcements — let’s take a look at the immersive experiences you can partake in!

D23 announced that this year’s D23 Expo will have a “Journey Into Storytelling” pavilion, which will immerse attendees into the various worlds of their favorite programming!

Good Morning America: Marquee photo-op with your name in lights
National Treasure: Edge of History: Search for clues in a secret pyramid tunnel
The Kardashians: Strut your stuff like a Kardashian
Cruel Summer: Take a turn on Dance Dance Revolution to throwback hits, take a photo in a Y2K-era room, and partake in a photo-op with content from the upcoming season of Cruel Summer
Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers: Fulfill your Laker legacy with an attempt at the “skyhook” inspired by Lakers legends
Abbot Elementary: Become a substitute teacher and see how you would react in some iconic scenes

American Born Chinese: Master the staff alongside the mythical Chinese heroes
Grey’s Anatomy: Strike a superhero pose or dance it out like the Grey Sloan Memorial staff
American Horror Story: Star in your own nightmarish story
Only Murders in the Building: Step into your own Mabel-style portrait at the Arconia

Those are the interactive experiences you can partake in! This area will also be full of “photo and video activations along with gamification.” So be sure to head over to the “Journey Into Storytelling” pavilion to check it all out.
