A Hard-to-Get Souvenir is BACK in Disney World

You never know what to expect with Florida weather — we’ve seen it all while trying to bring you all the latest Disney Parks updates!

From thunderstorms and flooding to cold (?) and extreme heat, the days can be very unpredictable! Recently, summer has rolled in with some seriously high temps hitting Disney World. But, if you find yourself looking for something to cool down with, there’s one item in particular that’s been hard to find in the parks lately.

UPDATE: Misting fans are BACK in Disney World! They were gone for a while, but we’re slowly seeing them start to pop up again in the parks. We found these in Magic Kingdom!

And, over in Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, they have some fans as well.

If you’ve ever been to Disney World on a hot day, you’ve probably been tempted by one of these fans with a spray bottle attached to it. These misting fans are pricey, but if you’ve been sweating in Disney World all day and find yourself craving the cool mist from a fan, these can be a live saver.

But, these were kind of hard to come by in Disney World! Not too long ago, we’ve noticed that the fans have been mysteriously missing from many merchandise carts.

Previously, when we asked a Cast Member, they confirmed that the misting spray bottle fans were SOLD OUT park-wide at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’re glad to see them start to come back in stock!

We have been able to find fans at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Pandora — The World of Avatar, but these are a bit smaller and themed specifically to the land. And, since they are Pandora-themed, you likely won’t be able to find these anywhere else.

If you want to avoid the worry and ensure that you have a way to cool off in the parks, plan ahead and order one online! We found a few on Amazon that come in various sizes and features. For example, this one is pretty similar to the ones they have in the parks, with the spray bottle at the bottom and a fan up top.

This one is super compact and portable, and folds into a smooth little oval! This one might not hold as much water as the other ones, but there are so many spots in Disney World where you can get water to fill this guy up.
