Characters are high-fiving us again, the Festival of Fantasy parade is back, and the Festival of the Lion King tumble monkeys are preparing to, well, tumble. Entertainment is coming back to the Disney parks, and we couldn’t be happier!

Over in Disneyland, both Disneyland Forever and the Main Street Electrical Parade are set to return on April 22nd, 2022. We’re gearing up for the big day, but while preparing for the return, we noticed something about the Main Street Electrical Parade that you might want to consider before your next trip.
Along with the grand return of the Main Street Electrical Parade, Disney announced an upcoming dining package at Plaza Inn will be available. The lunch-time package will give guests a reserved viewing area for the parade later that same night.

The dining package includes a meal, drink, and dessert, plus access to a reserved viewing area for the parade. We’ve seen similar dining packages in Disney World, like the Harmonious dining package in EPCOT!

If you’re looking for a tasty meal and easy, prime parade viewing, this is a great option. The only problem? We noticed it’s pretty tricky to actually book a reservation! After browsing the Disneyland website, we found that there were little to no dining reservations available between April and June 2022 for the Plaza Inn Dining Package.

Keep in mind that the dining package deal runs daily from 1PM to 3:30PM, which limits the availability of this popular dining option. If you’re interested in booking a reservation, keep checking the Disneyland website; you never know when a reservation might pop up!

For now, it might be a bit of a challenge to secure a lunch reservation, but don’t lose all hope! Last-minute cancelations may cause new reservations to open up closer to your trip.

The Plaza Inn dining package is $40 per adult and $25 per child. We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!
