NEWS: ‘Dr. Strange 2’ Is ALREADY Breaking Ticket Sale Records

It’s an exciting time for Marvel fans. Spider-Man: No Way Home was just released last December, Moon Knight just premiered on Disney+ (and is now making appearances around Avengers Campus), Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening in EPCOT very soon, and Dr. Strange In the Multiverse of Madness comes out in less than a month!

If you’re hoping to catch the new movie in theaters, tickets officially went on sale yesterday on Fandango, and it looks like A LOT of fellow fans will be joining you!

According to Deadline, Fandango reports that the first 24-hours of the new Dr. Strange movie’s pre-sale was the best 24-hour pre-sale period so far in 2022. In fact, pre-sale numbers were the best Fandango has seen since Spider-Man: No Way Home was released last year (though sales did not top the popular Spider-Man film).

With such high demand, some showtimes have completely sold out at theaters across the country, and new showtimes are being added to keep up.

If you’re not familiar, Dr. Strange 2 will follow Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as he casts a spell that opens a portal into the multiverse and must deal with the consequences that arise.
