NEWS: The Toy Story Hotel is Now Open at Tokyo Disney Resort

Toy Story fans — the time has come!

We’ve patiently sat back and watched the openings of other well-themed Disney hotels like Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and Disney’s Hotel New York – the Art of Marvel. We knew our time would come…and here it is!

Tokyo Disney Resort announced via Instagram that the Toy Story Hotel opens today! This hotel is the fifth Disney hotel in Japan, but it’s the first “moderate” type in the country. Previously, “deluxe type” and “value type” were the only options for guests.

This hotel immerses guests in the land of Toy Story with colorful furniture, rooms inspired by Andy’s bedroom, and an exterior that looks like it was built with toys!

There’s a total of 595 rooms for guests to occupy, and the hotel features the Lotso Garden Cafe, Gift Planet, Slinky Dog park, Toy Friends Square, and more! Guests also have convenient access to the park, thanks to the Bayside Station right outside the hotel. This station is a part of the Disney Resort Line, and provides a monorail that circles the resort, allowing guests to easily access both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. It’s important to note that guests of the hotel will not receive complimentary Disney Resort Line passes.
