And no, we’re not talking about setting sail with Disney Cruise Line (which is still awesome), this is something a little bit wilder… .
Disney and National Geographic have announced new expeditions for 2023! With National Geographic Expeditions, you get the chance to explore the nature and cultures of the world with a National Geographic guide to help you along the way (who, honestly, is someone you really want to have with you if you’re planning to go into the rainforest).
On one expedition, you’ll explore Costa Rica’s lush rainforests full of amazing wildlife (like those adorable sloths!) and thriving agriculture, learning about the creation of crops like coffee. You’ll also have the chance to learn more about Costa Rica’s conservation efforts and what you can do to help. This trip has departure dates on January 2nd & 24th, February 7th, March 21st, and May 4th available with each trip lasting eight nights, nine days.
If Europe’s more your style, National Geographic is also offering European River Cruises through the continent’s iconic waterways, exploring the rich culture of Europe. This expedition has trips throughout the year with a variety of destination options including the Rhine and Danube Rivers. There will also be Signature Land Trips to destinations like Patagonia, Egypt, India, and Borneo available. Learn more about the new destinations and departure dates for 2023 here!
These aren’t the only new Disney adventures on the horizon! This summer, Disney’s latest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, will set sail on its maiden voyage. The ship is a first-class, innovative vessel with all sorts of amazing features, including the first Disney ride at sea!
