MagicBands are one of the many convenient tools you can use on your Disney trip! They can hold your park tickets, Genie reservations, room key, and credit card all in one place, making Disney World a little bit easier.
However, we’ve never been able to use these convenient little wristbands at Disneyland… until now.
At Destination D23, Disney announced that MagicBands are finally arriving at Disneyland Resort in 2022! This is eight years after the 2013 launch of MagicBands in Disney World, and it looks like it’ll be well worth the wait.
Plus, Disneyland guests will be able to get an exclusive MagicBand+ with a Sleeping Beauty Castle design!
We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, including all the Destination D23 updates, so stay tuned here for more!

Sounds good to me, but what I want to know is am I going to have to buy a new one or can I use my basic magic band from WDW at Disneyland? If not, not sure if I’ll invest in one.
