Tonight is the first night of Disney Very Merriest After Hours in Magic Kingdom!
We’re at the event trying out all the food, seeing the new and returning entertainment, and obviously waiting for it to snow on Main Street, U.S.A. There will also be special character meet and greets during the event. And, we’ve already spotted the first character of the night!
Santa Claus is in Magic Kingdom!
He’s over at the gazebo by the entrance to Liberty Square.

So, you can go get your picture taken with jolly ol’ Saint Nicholas — which, of course, we did!
When we went by to see Santa, he told us all about how busy he is getting the reindeer ready. Then, we told him that all we wanted for Christmas is cheese, and Santa shared his love for smoked Gouda🧀 (which we can totally get on board with).

Thank goodness there is a photopass photographer there! Not having them in the modified meet and greets is one of the dumbest decisions in a long line of dumb decisions lately. Still don’t know who thought THAT was a good idea!
