Will you be taking advantage of these Extended Evening Hours? Tell us in the comments!
We experienced the EEH on our last trip since we got the Contemporary with DVC points (I’d never pay that much if it was my money!) and it made a huge difference in the crowds and was awesome. But I do think it’s a perk that should be given to all Disney resort guests. If I wasn’t staying at a Deluxe resort, I might stay off property rather than give Disney money when they’re basically telling us we’re not quite good enough.
I personally feel this should be for moderate and deluxe because even the moderates cost a lot.
It is truly messed up that this is only offered to the “rich”. I am not sure how much longer Disney will survive when you combine this type of decision with its political activism. Nothing lasts forever.
I can’t believe more people don’t complain about this blatant discrimination. After all, the people staying at the Value and Moderate resorts are paying the same for park tickets, food and shopping. And why are the Swan and Dolphin included in this. They aren’t even Disney hotels. They should also have their own transportation so the “Disney buses” wouldn’t have to stop there. Things just keep going down hill. What a shame!
I’m staying deluxe Thurs-Sunday so miss this perk. Boo
Are the parks with Evening Extra Hours seeing increased crowds on days that the extra hours occur?
Can I second this question?? Wondering if this is the new “extra magic hours” crowd days. Took one too many trips to realize that’s how the crowds move back in the EMH days and don’t want to make that mistake again but also don’t want to miss out.
You forgot to add, “for the rich” at the end of the title of the article. lol
It SUCKS that these Xtra Hours r Available for DELUXE and Villas only!! 🙁
I wish Guests at Values and Moderates got something too
We were going to book a deluxe for the evening extra magic hours but a Monday at Magic Kingdom and Wednesday at EPCOT…. waste of money. If Disney was smart they would make us pay to add it to our tickets or put it with genie+.
