The holidays are returning to the Disney theme parks, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We already had the details on all the celebrations coming to Disney World, like entertainment, festivals, and After Hours events, but today we got more info on the happenings at Disneyland Resort! The holiday season will run from November 12th to January 9th, and we’ve got the full list of entertainment options you can check out.
Disneyland Park
At Disneyland Park, the “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade will run several times a day, featuring favorite holiday and Disney characters, like Anna, Elsa, Mickey, Minnie, reindeer, gingerbread men, and more! And speaking of Disney characters, you’ll also be able to spot some of your favorite friends greeting guests around the park — wearing their special outfits for the holiday season.

At nighttime, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will come alive with lights and music, transforming into the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos. The Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks show is also returning, featuring projections on “it’s a small world” and projections and “snowfall” on Main Street, U.S.A.

As you leave the park at the end of your day, don’t forget to stop and wave to the Disney characters on top of the Town Square Disneyland Railroad Train Station — they’ll be wearing their pajamas!

California Adventure
At California Adventure next door, there is plenty to discover during the Disney Festival of Holidays. The festival will feature live entertainment celebrating different holidays of the season, including Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, where Mickey and Minnie join Mexican folklórico dancers, Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, percussionists, and giant mojiganga puppets in an exciting street party.

In the Paradise Gardens section of the park later in the season, guests will be able to meet Mirabel from the upcoming film Encanto as she makes her debut in the Disney parks.

And it wouldn’t be Christmas without Santa Claus! You’ll be able to meet him at his merry home on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Here, guests can take souvenir photos and share their holiday wishes with jolly ol’ Saint Nick.

Finally, make sure to catch Mickey and friends as they dance along to the beats of the Holiday Toy Drummers several times daily. It’s sure to be a blast!

Downtown Disney and the Hotels
At Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort Hotels, you’ll find holiday decorations all around, along with a variety of themed entertainment options. We’ll make sure to keep you updated as Disney shares more details!

That’s all the holiday entertainment coming to Disneyland Resort this year! We can’t wait to stop by and check out the festivities starting on November 12th, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.
