Last year, Disney announced that “Inclusion” would be a new “key” added to what is now their Five Keys system, which is the backbone of all Cast Member training as well as day-to-day core principles of the Company. The other four keys are Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Efficiency.

Since then, we’ve seen the many ways in which the Inclusion Key is being implemented across the Parks, including more inclusive costume guidelines for Cast Members as well as new park map covers that showcase guests from all walks of life.
Now, Disney is sharing the launch of “Reimagine Tomorrow,” a new initiative that affirms the Company’s commitment for inclusion, equity, and representation. As Disney puts it, Reimagine Tomorrow is a way of “amplifying underrepresented voices and untold stories as well as championing the importance of accurate representation in media and entertainment.”

Part of Reimagine Tomorrow is a brand-new website dedicated to the steps Disney is taking to make sure that representation is achieved. You are now able to search for various subjects, such as LatinX Representation, Diverse Families, Female Empowerment, and more!

Through Vision, Voices, and Action, Disney has broken down the current and future initiatives to use storytelling to reimagine tomorrow. You can also check out the “Reflections Film” as part of the Reimagine Tomorrow project below:
We’ll keep a watch on Reimagine Tomorrow for any more exciting developments, and we will let you know if we hear of any additional updates from Disney on the many ways it plans on implementing “Inclusion” across the Company.
