Disney+ is home to a massive library of Disney classics, offerings from Disney’s acquisitions, and original content like The Mandalorian and Loki!
Today, another new addition to Disney+ was announced!
According to Deadline, the 90’s cult classic Disney film The Rocketeer is getting a sequel on Disney+! The original film followed the story of a man who finds a jetpack and uses it to become a masked hero.
Return of the Rocketeer, produced by David and Jessica Oyelowo (Selma) and written by Ed Ricourt (Now You See Me), will star David Oyelowo and follow a retired Tuskegee Airman who becomes the Rocketeer.
Disney has not announced a release date, but we’ll let you know when it will come to Disney+. Stay tuned for more Disney entertainment news!
