Today is the day that Disneyland fans have been waiting for — the new Magic Key program is launching today! The Magic Key program is the replacement program for the resort’s Annual Pass system, which was discontinued at the beginning of this year.
If you haven’t decided which Key you want to purchase yet, or you’re wondering when you can book your first Park Reservation, you can check out the blockout calendar now on Disneyland’s website!
One of the major differences with Magic Key is that all “Keyholders” are required to book a Park Reservation ahead of each visit. Depending on which Key you have, you may be limited on when you can visit based on certain blockout dates.
Here’s a quick glimpse at the first day of Magic Key Park Reservation availability and blockout dates! The Dream Key, which comes with no blockout dates, looks to have full availability (as of this writing, Park Reservations can only be booked through November 23rd, 2021). Since the Magic Key program just launched, Park Reservations are widely available:
The next level Key is the Believe Key, which has certain Saturdays and holiday weekends blocked out:
The next tier down is the Enchant Key, with most weekends and holidays blocked out:
Finally, the Imagine Key has the highest amount of blockout dates, but currently has wide-open Park Reservation availability for the dates that they can visit.
As is the case with Disney World, Park Reservation availability can change at any moment, so if you are planning on purchasing a Magic Key today, be sure to book those Park Reservation as soon as you know when you would like to visit Disneyland!
