Disney+ Has Reached 116 Million Subscribers

The Walt Disney Company is preparing to host its Q3 Earnings Call for Fiscal Year 2021, and we’re getting a first look now at its Earnings Report!

Since its launch in 2019, Disney+ has seen remarkable growth in its subscriber count, and today we have an update on just how many people are signed up for the streaming service.

As of July 3rd, 2021, Disney+ has garnered a total of 116 million subscribers. This is a change of 100% from this quarter last year, when the streaming service had just reached a total of 57.5 million subscribers.

In addition to Disney+, we also have an updated look at Disney’s other streaming services. As of July 3rd, ESPN+ has a total of 14.9 million subscribers, and Hulu has a total subscriber count of 42.8 million: 39.1 million are subscribed to SVOD only, and the remaining 3.7 million have Live TV + SVOD.
