Are you getting pumped about the holidays in the Disney Parks?
We recently learned a lot about what Christmastime will look like in both Disney World and Disneyland, with Disneyland bringing back a limited-time souvenir, an epic gingerbread house, and more! But Halloween comes first, and it’s time to focus on Disneyland’s returning spooky After Hours event — Oogie Boogie Bash!
If you’re hoping to head to Disney California Adventure for the event, tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash are on sale NOW! This is a separately ticketed event with a limited number of tickets and they typically sell out pretty quickly, so you’ll want to get yours sooner than later.
Prices start at $114 per ticket, but they fluctuate depending on the date. You can take a look at all of the prices here!
The after hours event is set to begin on September 9th, and will run on select nights through October 31st with the event lasting from 6PM to 11PM. But, keep in mind that if you have purchased a ticket, can enter the park as early as 3PM without needing a separate park ticket!
The event will include immersive trick-or-treat candy trails, a “Frightfully Fun Parade,” Villains Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, “Mickey’s Trick & Treat” show, and more!
The wait for Oogie Boogie Bash tickets has been quite long! After waiting several hours, we were finally able to get through and purchase tickets.

I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble purchasing Oogie Boogie Bash tickets. I was in line when the queue first opened at 9am PST and noticed that the time increased by 10 minutes, and then when the time was down to 17 minutes, it jumped up to 35 minutes and then to over an hour. How can that be? Almost a half hour over the initial hour wait time I still have not been able to purchase tickets as the time keeps getting added onto to my wait time. Has this happened to anyone else? Do we know why time keeps getting added onto the wait time with no end in sight? Thanks!
