If You're Trying to Call Disneyland Today, You May Experience Some Issues

Disneyland Resort was closed for more than a year, so when it reopened last month, there was a lot of pent-up demand from fans!

Disneyland Resort had a very successful reopening!

We’ve seen several days fill up on the park reservation calendar, despite the fact that the resort was only open to California residents. And now that out-of-state guests will soon be able to visit, there’s so much demand that you may have a hard time booking your vacation!

Currently, many Disneyland Resort phone lines are experiencing incredibly high volumes of calls. So high, in fact, that there’s not even an option to wait on the line — the queues are filled! When we called the ticket line, we received the following message:

“We are currently experiencing extremely high call volume due to recent operational updates. To ensure that all callers waiting to speak to an agent have the opportunity to do so, we have closed our call queue at this time. We will reopen the queue when possible. so please try your call again later.“

Hey there, Mickey!

The message played twice for us and then the line ended our call. We experience something similar when we dialed the hotel reservations line. When trying the dining number, we got a different message that told us “at this time we are unable to make reservations via the dining line” and encouraged us to book, modify, or cancel our dining reservations online instead.

You may be waiting a while to call!

Disneyland Resort opens to out-of-state guests on June 15th, so we imagine this influx in call volume is due to those trying to plan their trips ASAP. We’ll make sure to keep you updated as we get more information, and we’ll share all the Disneyland Resort news you need to know!
