Parks have been avoiding any event that will cause a large crowd to gather for safety reasons. But now, with restrictions easing up, regular fireworks are returning to one of Orlando’s theme parks!
SeaWorld Orlando is bringing back its Electric Ocean event this summer and it will include a fireworks show around the park’s lake! “Ignite” will happen on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (and other select nights throughout the summer) to cap off your day at the theme park!
SeaWorld promises the show to be “an incredible display of fireworks, music, lights, and pyrotechnics that brings the brilliance of the sea to the sky above.” Electric Ocean will also include new educational presentations, two different dance parties, and a rock concert from our favorite Sesame Street friends!
“Elmo Rocks” will show Elmo, Zoe, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Bert, and Ernie audition and rehearse to form The Rockin’ Elmo Band after their favorite band cancels its concert appearance (who else is hopping for a surprise appearance from Big Bird?!).
The two dance parties include Electric Current, which kicks off the evening as an all-ages dance party, and then Club SeaGlow, which will lead up to the fireworks and feature “high-energy atmospheric acts.”
The event will also have “Rescue Tails” presentations that will talk about SeaWorld’s animal care and rescue programs. You’ll even get to meet some of the birds of prey, primate, and reptile rescues at the park!
And the best part? All of the Electric Ocean events are included with your regular ticket into SeaWorld! The fun will start soon — the event kicks off on May 28th and will run on select dates through September 6th! We can’t wait to see how SeaWorld brings the beauty of the seas to life!
