Disney’s Animal Kingdom has welcomed tons of baby animals in the last year!
We’ve seen a baby giraffe, a baby aardvark, and a baby babirusa, but now there’s a new little addition to the Disney World family!
Today in the park, a baby boy zebra was born on the savanna of Kilimanjaro Safaris! According to Disney, some guests were witnesses to the birth while on the attraction.
The zebra was born under the Species Survival Plan program which ensures responsible breeding and genetic diversity in tons of animal species. Isn’t he adorable?!
This is the first zebra birth in Disney World this year. Next time you ride Kilimanjaro Safaris, be sure to lookout for this cute addition to the savanna! We’ll continue to keep you updated on any other Disney World news.
