Disney Just Launched a NEW Legacy Lightsaber, And You Won't Believe Who it Belongs To

Happy Star Wars Day friends! Today has been filled so far with tons of announcements and lots of fun shenanigans in the parks!

Hollywood Studios is hopping today with new treats and merchandise, and we’re not the only ones interested in celebrating (it’s BUSY!). Today, Disney launched a brand-new Legacy Lightsaber in the parks and online, and now we understand why people are willing to wait so long to check it out!

Launching today online and in Galaxy’s Edge, you can now buy Leia’s lightsaber from Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker!!! But, if you’re buying it online, you’ll be shopping it as part of the Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set — Leia Organa Hilt & Reforged Skywalker Hilt.

We’ve seen the Reforged Skywalker Lightsaber before — it has been sold in Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities for a while. It’s the saber that was first wielded by Anakin Skywalker, then passed down to Luke by Obi-Wan, and later found its way into the hands of Rey. It has quite the history in Star Wars!

The Leia lightsaber is new to the game, and we think these two look pretty awesome as a set! You can buy them both online for $375. They’re a limited-edition set of 3000 and come in a box that plays the “Force” theme when you open it.
