Visiting Disneyland Soon? Don’t Forget to Bring Proof of California Residency.

In recent  weeks, there has seemed to be a bit of back-and-forth regarding California’s guidance on state residents being the only ones allowed to visit theme parks upon reopening.

While the state’s mandates were recently updated to include fully vaccinated individuals from out-of-state being allowed in the parks, at this time, Disneyland is keeping their mandate in place that states only in-state residents can enter the parks at this time.

With Disneyland’s historic reopening just a few days away, the parks are continuing to remind guests of their in-state policy, with additional verbiage on proof of residency.

Disney Parks Blog has stated, “Be sure you have proof of California residency with you as only California residents may visit the parks at this time. You may be asked to show such proof of residency, as necessary.”

In the statement, Disney did not provide any additional details at this time for what will specifically count as valid proof of California residency. In addition to proof of in-state residency, all guests will be required to have both valid theme park admission and a confirmed park reservation in order to enter.
