Disneyland is reopening soon, and we’re bringing you all the details!

We’ve told you all about park tickets, dining, and even how to score a ride on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! But today, we’re talking characters. Disneyland just released lots of details about who you may run into in the parks, and we’re here to share it with you!
Currently, guests can meet some of these characters from afar as part of Disney California Adventure’s A Touch of Disney event. But when the parks officially reopen, you’ll encounter some pals you haven’t seen in a while! In Galaxy’s Edge, you could run into Rey, Chewbacca, Vi Morada, some Stormtroopers, or even Kylo Ren himself.

You can spot Mickey and his pals in a couple of places: at the Main Street, U.S.A. railroad station or outside their houses in Mickey’s Toontown! Other characters in Disneyland include princesses at the Royal Theatre, Captain Jack Sparrow in New Orleans Square, and Miguel from Coco at Rancho del Zocolo in Frontierland.

If you hop over to Disney California Adventure, keep an idea out for characters at Carthay Circle and the Pixar Pier bandshell! You’ll also be able to catch Disney Junior stars on the Disney Theater stage in Hollywood Land.

While you’re in Hollywood Land, try to spot some Avengers! They’ll be hanging around the Hollywood Backlot Stage until Avengers Campus opens on June 4th. Then, you’ll be able to meet them in their brand-new land.

Lastly, keep an eye out for Pixar pals at Pixar Pier, as well as Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Red in Cars Land. They’ll be waiting for you for some fun photos!

Keep in mind that all of these meet and greets will be socially distanced. That means no hugs or high fives — but you will be able to share a wave and a smile!
