The Disney College Program has been a big part of Walt Disney World for many years, and we’ve definitely been missing it since the parks reopened!

The program was suspended when Disney World shut down last year and hasn’t started back up yet, although there is hope for the future. But, if you’re planning on participating in the College Program, things may look a little different next time, as Disney is selling one of the apartment complexes!
According to Orlando Business Journal, Disney is preparing to sell the Vista Way apartments on Meadow Creek Drive near Walt Disney World. The 468-unit complex was previously one of the locations for Disney’s program housing.

Right now, the property is vacant, as all the residents that were there before have since been moved to the new Flamingo Crossings Village apartments that opened in December.

Vista Way is home to two resort-style pools, two clubhouses, a fitness center, and more across its 34.6-acre property. Last year, the property’s market value was $63.1 million, but it will likely sell for more money considering its amenities, location, and attachment to Disney.

We’ll make sure to keep you updated with any more details on this sale, so stay tuned! We’ll be watching for more information on Disney’s programs as well, so keep an eye on AllEars.

I lived at Vista Way 20 years ago when I did the college program. It was an amazing experience that I highly recommend to anyone. It’s always been a great talking point on my resume as well.
It’s gonna need significant refurbishment
