This Heartwarming Story About Dick Van Dyke’s Donations is Practically Perfect

In today’s most heartwarming news story, iconic Mary Poppins star Dick Van Dyke was ever the good samaritan when he spotted helping people in need! 

The world can be an unpredictable and stressful place, especially this past year, so we’ll gladly take any bit of positivity we can get. Fortunately for the world, Dick Van Dyke exists! 

The 95-year-old actor is still out and about, spreading good will and cheer to those who need it most, and we’ve got proof! 

According to @tanksgoodnews on Instagram, the star was recently spotted in Malibu running errands, when he paused to hit up an ATM to withdraw cash and start handing out money to unemployed Californians.

The good deed was done at the Malibu Community Labor Exchange, a non-profit organization that helps unemployed residents find work. 

This is precisely the kind of joy and generosity we love to see, and proof that not all heroes wear capes — some carry a chimney sweep!
