Stitch has been on quite the journey through classic Disney movies recently!
At the beginning of the year, Disney began the Stitch Crashes Disney saga, and has been releasing a new Stitch plush, pin, and MagicBand every month. And, this isn’t your average Stitch merchandise, in these, Stitch is literally “crashing” into Disney movies like Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, and, most recently, The Lion King. Each one has been unique in its own special way and the next is already on its way!
Stitch is crashing Disney’s The Little Mermaid next month and we’ve got a release date! He will be available on April 16th at 7AM PST and, Disney is changing up the release of this guy. This iteration of the collection will ONLY be available online.
The previous collections have all released both online and in stores at Walt Disney World, so this is a bit different for those hoping to snag the sea-covered Stitch. But, the collection will still feature the Stitch design in a pin and MagicBand as we’ve seen with others.
We think that Stitch is looking pretty cute covered in the ocean waves with shadows of Ariel and Flounder swimming around. Plus, look at that pink flower he’s tucked away behind his ear! He can be yours soon, so, get your alarms set for April 16th and be ready to head on over to shopDisney to pick him up!

This is not TRUE. Disney has NOT set a release date yet. They are NOT being released today.

Why are they only doing ONLINE PURCHASES? They are usually sold out in less than 5 minutes. No joke. We’ve been enjoying going to our local Disney Store at 8:00am until it’s 10:00am opening. This is going to be a drag. So many people are not going to be able to get one of these this way & I hope that I’m not one of them.
