Are you pumped for Disney’s new film, Raya and the Last Dragon, that’s releasing this week?

We know Disney is because they’ve been putting out tons of merchandise, as well as some special themed offerings in the parks! The movie lands in theaters and on Disney+ this Friday, but if you plan to stream it from home, you’ll have to pay $29.99 for premium access. Want to avoid the theaters but don’t want to pay $30? We’ve got just the thing for you!
The New York International Children’s Film Festival will be hosting two online streamings of Raya and the Last Dragon on March 12th, just one week after the film’s release date. Individual tickets to the streaming cost $18, which is nearly half of the Disney+ price point.

The two streamings run at 7PM EST and 10PM EST on that Friday. If you’d like to tune in, click here to purchase your tickets. With your ticket purchase, you’ll get to stream the film once, as well as watch a question and answer session with Raya herself, Kelly Marie Tran.

If you choose to stream on Disney+ instead, you’ll get unlimited viewings of the movie and access to the Q&A, so it really just depends on how often you’d like to watch the film. The bonus of watching the stream from NYICFF is that you’ll be supporting their organization, a non-profit dedicated to showcasing artistic, diverse, and intelligent films for kids, teens, and families.

Stay tuned to AllEars for more information on this movie leading up to its release later this week, as well as any upcoming details on other Disney projects!
