Last year, the Star Wars Trading Post opened in a temporary location in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the store would be getting a new location on the west end of Downtown Disney, with an opening date of February 19th. We got some more details about the store a few days ago, but now it’s officially open and we’re going inside!
The new location is the former home of Rainforest Cafe, but it has been transformed into a rebel base! On the outside of the store, we spotted space cargo, ready to be unloaded…

…just before heading inside to see all the merchandise in store for travelers!

The store has a wide array of home goods…

…apparel…

…plushes…

…and accessories!

The transformation from the Rainforest Cafe into the Star Wars Trading Post has also given guests the opportunity to purchase a bunch of galactic plushes…

…and creatures on the shelves too.

Can you spot all the Porgs hiding in this tree?

The store has even added a few hidden details that fans can spot during their visit, including The Child’s floating carriage!

Lightsaber sales are operating the same way they previously were at the WonderGround Gallery, where guests take a number when they walk into the store and are called up to the counter when its their turn.

Although we’ve seen it in the parks, the Paddy Frog Sipper from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is also available for $23.99!

Guests can also take home their very own droid from the Resistance or the First Order…

…that they can tote around in their own specific carrying cases.

There’s even the ability to customize your droid with a astromech personality chip that modifies both the personality and sounds of the droid!

Guests can also purchase a silver version of the Batuuan Spira compared to the bronze version we regularly have seen.

You can purchase the Batuuan Spira before entering the store at the ESPN shop before you head over to the Star Wars Trading Post.

We’ll definitely be back here in the future to keep an eye on new merchandise, so stay tuned to AllEars!
