Since the reopening, the Walt Disney World theme parks have been using a park pass reservation system to control the limited capacity in the parks and allow for physical distancing. Guests are required to not only buy a ticket, but book a reservation for the park they’d like to visit each day. And now, Park Pass Reservation dates have been extended!
Previously, guests were able to book park passes through January 2022, but now they are available through early January 2023!

This makes sense, as Disney also just opened up vacation packages and resort bookings for 2022. And don’t forget — you can book with a verified travel agent who can ensure you get the best deals possible! We recommend Mouse Fan Travel.

As is currently the case, when you plan on park hopping, you will still need to book at park pass reservation for your first park of the day.

As always, things could change as Disney adjusts capacity, safety precautions, and offerings, but for now, if you’re booking a Disney World vacation in 2022 or early 2023, it looks like you’ll still be required to book those park passes.
We will keep you posted with more Disney planning news!

Actually really sad about this. Don’t think I’ll be booking tickets at all for our may 2022 trip. No point in paying money if you can’t guarantee I’ll be in the park. 14 days from the uk with a hope “ I can get a reservation”
Guarantee this isn’t going to happen – Disney is losing a fortune on theme parks as it is
Just booked my trip for May 2022. Will still need passes, masks and no meal plan; for 2022! Hopefully it will change as we get closer.
This is so sad that they plan to continue park reservations through next year and even into the following.
