Disney Pic of the Week: All-Star Sports Resort

The first time my family could afford to stay on Walt Disney World property, we stayed at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. It taught us the best way to visit Walt Disney World was to stay on property.

The convenience and perks even at a Value Walt Disney World Resort is well worth it for us and many other families who visit each year.

Which Walt Disney World resort was your first one?

  1. When I stayed on WDW property for the first time, I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. That was in September of 1992 & I came on my own. It was one of the Best vacations I ever experienced. The Caribbean Beach still has a special place in my heart, even to this day. I was over in the Jamaica Section, which was a quick walk over the bridge to get to Old Port Royale. I still remember enjoying an evening with other guests at the Banana Cabana outdoor bar. The cast members were wonderful, from checking in at the former Custom House to everyone at Old Port Royale and the shoppes there. Even hit the Goombay Games Arcade while I was there. I highly recommend going to WDW on your own, if you ever get the chance. If it’s your first time on property, it will be a time you will cherish and remember…ALWAYS!
