PHOTOS: Check Out the Latest Construction on the Star Wars Hotel Coming to Disney World!

One of the biggest developments we are anxiously awaiting is the completion and opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! This immersive multi-night experience will take guests to a one-of-a-kind hotel in a galaxy far, far away!

We drove by the future site of Galactic Starcruiser to check out the current construction progress!

Check out these photos we took of the latest construction progress!

We noticed construction vehicles on the scene, so work is still well underway! If you’ve been following along with our construction updates, you may see many major changes, at least that we can tell from the road!

A lot of the hotel’s construction over the last year has gone vertical, and you can see the spot where guests will enter the Halcyon, which is the name of the starcruiser!

When completed, the entrance will resemble this concept art:

As of this writing Disney World has not provided an updated timeline on when we can expect the hotel to be completed (or when reservations will be accepted). However, we did notice one big sign of life — LIGHTS were on out front, with lamp posts that look similar to what we’ve seen over on Batuu.
