The highly-anticipated second season of The Mandalorian will debut on October 30th.
While awaiting the premiere, we’ve been gathering as much information about the new season as we can! Earlier, we learned some of the plot, settings, and directors of the upcoming episodes. We now know the writing team behind the new season.
The Writers Guild has posted the credits for The Mandalorian season two. All three writers are returning to the Mando family, having written episodes for season one. Jon Favreau has written six episodes while Dave Filoni and Rick Famuyiaw wrote one episode for this upcoming season. Some plot points are in the air but new characters, like Ahsoka Tano, will make an appearance while old characters, like Moff Gideon, will be returning to cause conflict.
The three writers directed episodes for season two of The Mandalorian as well. We’ll be looking forward to where they take us on the next journey containing droids, lightsabers, and Baby Yoda!
