NEWS: Chadwick Boseman’s Film ’42’ Will Be Re-Released in Theaters This Week

Recently, we shared the tragic news that actor and Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman had passed away at the age of 43.

In recognition of his passing and of his stellar film career, AMC will be re-releasing another of his recent films in theaters this week.

The film 42 starring Boseman will be re-released in more than 300 AMC theaters across the country, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will return to theaters this Thursday, September 3rd, with tickets available for $5. According to the report, tickets should be available for purchase beginning today.

42 is a biopic film that tells the story of famed African American baseball player Jackie Robinson. Boseman plays the role of Jackie Robinson. The film also features Harrison Ford, Nicole Beharie, and Lucas Black.
