These videos give us a glimpse into what the guest experience will be like at Shanghai Disneyland, as well as possible hints for what the health and safety protocols will be like when the US parks eventually reopen.

The following video, shared by Twitter user @gourmetdyycovers precautionary measures such as temperature screening guests upon entry, as well as tips on how to maintain physical distancing in lines and certain attractions, and other various sanitization procedures that will be in place.

News outlets in China have also reported on these new health protocols. The video, provided again by @gourmetdyy on Twitter, shows guests being spaced out by every other row on ride vehicles, and what markings will be in place for guests to use as a distancing guide in queue areas as well as on vehicles.

The full news report shows the process guests will have to go through in order to redeem their reserved ticket to gain entry to the park. This process will involve scanning a QR Code, having their temperature screened, and observing physical distancing while in line to enter.

Tickets for the re-opening went on sale last night, with the option to buy advanced dated tickets for both full and half day visits.

  1. It looks like they have taken very good steps to get the park opened. CA and FL should be able to take some similar precautions and get the parks open. They have the money and manpower to do it. Everyone loves Disney and missis it.
