With movie theaters closed around the country, the release schedule for many movies have changed. We have been keeping you updated with the latest release dates, but multiple Marvel movies have recently been shuffled around the schedule.
Here are the most recent updated dates for the announced Marvel Studios’ films.
Spider-Man 3– November 5th, 2021
With the follow up to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home over a year away, we can’t wait to see how they work the word “home” into the title of the third movie. The return of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker was set to be released in July of 2021, but has been shifted back to November 2021.
Thor: Love and Thunder – February 11, 2022
We are so excited to see the next installment of Thor from Taika Waititi. In Thor: Love and Thunder, we get to see what happens when Jane Foster lifts Mjolnir and gets the powers of Thor. The release date was originally Gebruary 18th, but the film is set to release a week early. When it is released in February of 2022, we will see Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth return to rid the cosmos of Frost Giants. With the success of Thor: Ragnarok, we hope to see more of the same humor and 80’s space adventure vibes.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – March 25th, 2022
Spider-Man 3 took over the previously announced release date for the second Doctor Strange film. Just a few months ago the Doctor Strange sequel lost its director and there have been rumors of who may be taking the reigns of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With the dimension hopping implied by the title, we can’t wait to see what the master of mysticism is up to in March of 2022.
2022 may feel like a million years away, but we are still so excited to see these films!
Which Marvel character is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
I never thought I would EVER say that I can not WAIT for these movies to come out! I hated all things superhero until I was getting dressed one day and Guardians of the Galaxy was on tv in the background and I kept laughing out loud so many times that I decided to record it and watch it when I got home from work. From that moment on, I couldn’t wait for Infinity War so I could see the Guardians again. Once I saw that, I had to then go back and watch ALLLLL of the rest of the Marvel movies to see how it all tied in. I’m a total newbie, but I am glad I waited because I can’t imagine having to wait years in between installments. I’m the most impatient person on Earth! Now I own every movie! Loki is the man! lol
