If we had to give an award to “Best Co-Pilot to Hug on a Cold Day”, it would probably go to Chewbacca. It feels like ages since we last saw him on the big screen, but maybe that’s just because any day without Chewie seems empty.
It’s time to bake some Chewie Chews because we’re going to be partying all day long with Chewbacca and his furry Porg friends with this read-along and cool DIY project!
Yes, there is no escape from the Porgs! The tiny doe-eyed aliens and Chewbacca get to spend a fun-filled day on Ahch-To (the planet Rey found Luke on in The Last Jedi) in Chewie and the Porgs.
You can listen or follow along as Chewie himself, Joonas Suotamo, reads through the story!
If that’s not enough Wookie and Porgs, you can also make your own Chewbacca and Porg painted rocks. Here’s what you’ll need to get started!
- Medium oval-shaped rocks
- Black, white, brown, blue, and pink acrylic paint
- Paint brushes
