A New Simpsons Short Is Coming To Disney+!

The first family of animation, The Simpsons, took the coveted short film spot that normally plays before a Pixar film when Onward debuted in theaters.

Now that Onward has landed on the Disney+, it only seems fitting that this new short also find a home in The Simpsons collection of the streaming service.

The new short, entitled “Maggie Simpson in ‘Playdate with Destiny'”, features the smallest member of the family in another day at the park that goes awry. Maggie is saved, however, by a heroic new baby that steals her heart.

The short was announced to be coming to Disney+ in a special handwritten note signed by series creator Matt Groening and several other animators on Instagram.

You’ll be able to stream Maggie’s new adventure on Disney+ starting tomorrow, April 10th. More wacky baby hijinks are on the way, as it was announced that the 2012 “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Longest Daycare'” short would also be coming to Disney+ later this month!
