Disneyland After Dark: Villains Nite to be Rescheduled

Hi, AllEars readers! If you would like to read more information regarding the temporary closures at the Disney Parks, please click here for a list of closures at the Disney Parks, or click here for some of our most FAQs. From all of us at AllEars, our thoughts are with those affected. While the Disney Parks are closed, we will continue to write articles and bring you AllEars TV videos to enjoy and for our readers to use once the parks reopen.

We’ve seen 80’s Nite, Sweethearts Nite, and Pixar Nite at Disneyland Resort. And we were gearing up for the next installment of Disneyland After Dark, Villains Nite.

But it looks like the park closures will leave us waiting for our spooky encounter.

Villains Nite was originally scheduled for April 30th, but with Disneyland Resort closed “until further notice,” Disneyland released a statement updating the plans for the hard-ticketed after-hours event.

Villains Nite will be rescheduled to a later date and tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date. Guests can call Disneyland at (714) 781-4636 if they wish to cancel instead.

We will let you know when we hear the date the event will be scheduled to and don’t forget there is also a Star Wars Nite coming to Disneyland this year!

  1. I was informed that anyone wanting a refund needs to wait until the rescheduled date is posted. Disney is trying to hold onto the money as long as possible. I am an essential employee working during this covid crisis and my shift changes every few months and I can work at all hours. The original April 30 date worked with my schedule at that time and I informed Disney that by rescheduling to a later date it may not work with my schedule. I was told to call back and try but it was not promised that they could do a refund because I purchased the ticket knowing I could go. I kept explaining that I bought the ticket knowing it was for the April 30 date knowing I could go then. If I cant go for a later set date a refund may still not be honored. Their website is deceiving and the phone number to get a hold of a cast member took an hour and a half to just go around in a circle.

  2. Same with me I called since the website of Disney says if you wish to no longer hold the ticket to call they told me to either go or sell it to someone …. if someone else goes they basically have your name on it ….. as if the cast members will let u go in as a man with a women’s name on the ticket …. they refuse to even send u at least a gift card with that amount instead of cash they refuse to do anything for you .

  3. I called to get a refund for 6 tickets for the event after it was canceled and Disney refused to refund my tickets. The representative told me if I couldn’t make the rescheduled date I would need to “gift” my tickets to someone else. I live in Oregon so its not like I can just go whenever. I asked for a credit towards something else in the park for my next visit and Disney refused!!

  4. We just called the number posted and were told this event had not officially been cancelled for 4/30 so they cannot issue a refund at this time. We were advised to call back once we see the 4/30 date cancelled on the Disney website.
