Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Is Coming to DVD and Digital Download This March!

The Saga has ended… which means you can finally complete your collection so you can binge-watch the whole thing over and over again! That’s right — Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is coming to DVD and digital download.

Over and over and over…

Soon you can bring the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga home in HD and 4K Ultra HD, alongside a collection of exclusive special features.

The film will release digitally via Movies Anywhere on March 17th, allowing you to watch it on Apple TV, Prime Video, VUDU, Google Play, and other services.  Two weeks later, on March 31st, the film will drop on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD. No word on when the film will come to Disney+ (but we will let you know as soon as we hear!).

There’s also a collection of bonus materials and featurettes, including…

  • The Skywalker Legacy: A feature length making-of documentary that looks behind the scenes of this epic finale’s creation.
  • Pasaana Pursuit: A behind the scenes look at the epic Landspeeder chase on Pasanna.
  • Aliens in the Desert: A peek at what it took to make the desert festival scene.
  • D-0: Key to the Past: A closer look at D-0, the adorable new droid that holds the key to Rey’s origins.
  • Warwick and Son: A feature focusing on Warwick Davis returning to the roll of Wicket the Ewok, now joined by his son Harrison.
  • Cast of Creatures: A detailed look at all the puppetry, makeup, and special effects behind the iconic aliens of the film.

Digital downloaders can also get an exclusive featurette focusing on John Williams, as he reflects on his amazing body of work and shares insights on scoring The Rise of Skywalker.

You’ll have no shortage of choices in how to purchase the new film. If you can’t decide between physical and digital editions, you can grab the Multi-Screen Edition and get a bonus digital download code.
