“Who is that girl I see, staring there back at me?”
Disney has just released a series of character posters for their upcoming live-action remake of Mulan. In a clever nod to one of the most iconic songs from the original animated film, each poster features Mulan’s reflection in various weapons, highlighting the more action-oriented tone of this remake. Check out all of the posters in the series below!
Liu Yifei plays Mulan, shown here in her male disguise. Donnie Yen plays Commander Tung, replacing the role of Li Shang.
Legendary actor Jet Li plays the Emperor of China, while Yoson An plays the role of Chen Honghui, Mulan’s ally and love interest.
Finally, we have Gong Li as Xian Lang, the shapeshifting witch, and Jason Scott Lee Bori Khan, leader of the Huns.
We’re excited to see how the live-action remake differs from the iconic original! Mulan will be premiering in theaters March 27th.
