The Star Wars saga has been wowing audiences with tales of adventure and excitement for 40 years. However, there’s one side of the story we often overlook: the friendships between the people who make it.

The newest Star Wars featurette, Friendship, doesn’t feature any groundbreaking behind the scenes looks at the new film, but it does give us some touching moments between its stars.

Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), and Oscar Issac (Poe) are the main trio of the new trilogy, but The Rise of Skywalker represents the first time that all three of them will go on an adventure together on screen. The new featurette celebrates the bond between the actors behind these characters, while giving us a glimpse at some other touching moments. The scenes with Carrie Fisher (General Leia) are especially heartwarming. This whole featurette feels like it could double as a tribute to the late Hollywood legend, though it never goes so far as to say so explicitly.
