A quick walk down Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today revealed that the Planet Hollywood Super Store has closed.

The store, which has been a staple along Sunset for years, sold Planet Hollywood logo merchandise, from apparel to movie memorabilia and other souvenirs.
All signage for the shop has been removed. At the moment, there’s no outward indication of what may take the shop’s place.

Below is how the store appeared just a few short months ago.

The vacant space will allow the next-door neighbor, Legends of Hollywood, to expand. Legends has always sold a variety of merchandise, from Mickey ears to toys and housewares, but lately it has been leaning toward offering everything for the Star Wars fan — apparel, gifts and gear. The addition of more space for Star Wars merchandise makes sense, given that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be opening later this year.

You’ll still be able to get your Planet Hollywood fix over at the shop next to the restaurant’s Disney Springs location.
