This week’s photo is a Public Service Announcement to all those people who have never ridden the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for various reasons. This is what it looks like from the back row of the ride vehicle from the top of the drop shaft, I mean, elevator shaft.

  1. I remember my first time on the ride. I was anxious and excited at the same time. To commemmorate the occasion I bought the Movie on DVD and a Goofy bell hop plush…

I also remember when the movie was actually on tv on Saturday night.

It’s still my favorite ride and hope they don’t change it to the Guardians of the Galaxy. I love the Bellhop theme in Disney World. It’s so cool.

Scott replies: I am with you. I hope they never change it. The theming is some of the best the Imagineers have ever done. Having grown up watching The Twilight Zone, it is my favorite attraction at DHS.

  2. Hi Scott,
I still have my shirt that says I survived Tower of Terror.
I will admit though I have never gone back to ride again.
