Last week I walked around Old Port Royale at the Caribbean Beach Resort to check out the water fun.
Fuentes del Morro is the feature swimming area for the resort. Designed to resemble a Spanish fortress, this heated pool features waterfalls, slides, and water cannons. The pool also offers “zero-entrance” for easy access into the water. Abundant lounge chairs are scattered around the deck.
For the little ones, a separate pool/play area is located nearby. A mock shipwreck and slides is the centerpiece of this children’s water world. Especially fun is the overhead barrel that periodically dumps its water on the revelers below. Note, diaper-age children are required to wear swim diapers or rubber pants when using any pool at Walt Disney World. Swim diapers are available at Calypso Trading Post.
While neither of these areas are new, I took the opportunity to update our photo and video galleries.
