The next time you visit the Disneyland Resort in California, be sure to check out these Hidden Mickeys:
Tom Sawyer Island in Frontierland has an elaborate “Pirate’s Lair” play area. Walk to the heaps of coins and look for three coins that form a classic (three-circle) Hidden Mickey. They’re peeking out from under a wood plank that holds in the treasure at the right rear of the coin heaps in front of the blue pirate tarp. All the coins are glued down, so you can’t move them around. Whenever you see collections of circular objects on Disney property, you’ll likely find a Hidden Mickey or two! (Thanks to Rosemary and Neil [FindingMickey.com])
As you exit the theater for It’s Tough to be a Bug in California Adventure’s “a bug’s land,” stare up above you for a classic Mickey made of small round stalks. Find it on the wall to the upper left as you walk toward the second set of exit doors from the front of the theater.
Stroll to the lobby of Disneyland Hotel’s Frontier Tower. In a hallway off to the left from the lobby, a black and white painting hangs on the right wall near the stairwell. A woman in the painting holds the hands of two children. Some of the images on her dress are classic Mickeys. (Thanks to Kim Bacon)
Disneyland Resort is full of wonderful Hidden Mickeys!
