Singer Davy Jones, from the 1960s pop group The Monkees, was scheduled to perform at the 19th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival “Flower Power” concert series. However Jones, who was Festival favorite for at least the last 10 years, suffered a heart attack and passed away on February 29. Based on suggestions from fans of both Jones and The Monkees, Disney has arranged to have another former member of group, Micky Dolenz, take Jones’s spot on the series schedule.
Concerts are performed at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase. Show Times: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Concerts are included with Epcot admission.
