I’m Registered: Part II

Well gang I’ve registered for the 2008 Walt Disney World Half-Marathon!

I kept putting it off because frankly I was disappointed with my performance in this year’s race. However, there’s something about running through a Walt Disney World theme park in the pre-dawn hours that says “AWESOME!.” so I took the plunge yet again.

Also as we got closer and closer to the summer I realized that I had to make my decision ASAP. Registrations have been pouring in at a record pace and I would guess that the half-marathon will be filled up before we get to August.

About two weeks back the official word was that the Walt Disney World Half-Marathon Registration was at 85% capacity or higher. My guess is that it is now over the 90% mark.

So if anyone out there has been debating about giving this a shot I would strongly suggest you make your decision soon.

The registration fee is close to $100 and with it you get a bag of goodies at the Race Expo at Disney’s World of Sports, including your fancy schmancy WDW 2008 Half-Marathon T-Shirt.
