The Ultimate Disney World Water Park Packing List for 2025
We’ve been going to Disney World for decades. We’ve tried it all — cooling gear for hot, summer days in the theme parks, portable chargers, sneakers, and even cameras! But if you’re packing for a water park day in Disney World, your packing list might look a little different. What should you bring?

We’re here to help! We’ve rounded up our tried-and-true theme park essentials that are perfect for a visit to places like Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park. Whether you’re planning a few trips around the lazy river, or want to jump in the wave pool, we’ve got the Amazon items for you!
Do you have Amazon Prime yet? You can snag a free trial below.
OK, let’s start with an essential that will help not just at the water parks, but in the Disney World theme parks, too. We ALWAYS keep a portable charger handy, like this Portable Charger Power Bank!

This one will typically charge our phones completely at least twice, plus it has a flashlight feature when you need it. When your phone is out in the sun all day, you need a charger that can rescue your battery — and FAST!
Water parks are fun and all, but it’s easy to get caught up in the water slides and forget to reapply your sunscreen! We have two top sunscreen choices, including this Powder Sunscreen from Hawaiian Tropic.

Powder sunscreen is great for protecting your scalp, which is VERY important in a place like a water park, where you probably can’t wear a hat when you’re in the water. We love this one and have repurchased it many, many times.
Another fan favorite is the Sun Bum Glow 30!

This one offers a nice glowy sheen while still protecting your skin. It’s pretty inexpensive, so this is a great “under $20” option to toss in your bag.
You can’t go to a water park without sunglasses, right?! We recommend a classic pair of Oversized Sunglasses to protect your eyes.

This pair in particular is nice and sturdy and gives us great coverage from that tough Orlando sun! We truly can’t recommend these enough — they’re perfect for Disney World.
Don’t ruin your good park bag with a wet bathing suit! Instead, bring a KIKIGOAL Dry Wet Separated Swimming Bag.

Does anyone else HATE changing out of your wet bathing suit and sticking that wet, drippy suit in your bag? A soaked bathing suit gets everything wet! That’s where the KIKIGOAL Dry Wet Separated Swimming Bag comes in! Stick this inside another bag, and then you can put your bathing suit inside at the end of the day to make sure it stays separate from everything else.
We LOVED packing this Waterproof Cell Phone Pouch on our visit to Typhoon Lagoon!

Protect your phone from any rogue water you may encounter! Trust us — at a water park, it’s very easy to accidentally end up with a wet phone. This one keeps your gear safe, AND you can still use the touch screen through the plastic!
We also recommend this AiRunTech Waterproof Fanny Pack!

If you’re traveling to the water park with your camera, wallet, or other valuables that need to stay dry, we recommend the AiRunTech Waterproof Fanny Pack. This way, you can keep your items right on your person without the fear of getting things soaking wet.
Sure, you can pick up a towel or two at the water park, but if you want a bigger beach towel, we recommend these fun Towels on Amazon!

There are TONS of cute Disney designs to choose from, and these are nice and absorbent and perfect for a trip to the water park.
Finally, we also recommend packing the Boao 8-Pack Towel Bands for Beach Chairs!

Wanna know what we HATE? When our towel slips off the chair as we adjust positions. That’s why we recommend these Towel Bands. Oh, and as an added bonus, these help us keep track of our chairs in a sea of white beach chairs.Â
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
