Disney Pic of the Week: The Seas with Nemo and Friends

Posted on
As Scott mentioned yesterday, the Seas with Nemo and Friends was an evolution of the Living Seas pavilion. The remake was quite refreshing offering new ways to learn about the sea and breathe life into what was once a tired, old poorly attended Living Seas pavilion. The overall theme is now tied into the animated … Continue reading "Disney Pic of the Week: The Seas with Nemo and Friends"

I like to check out the Festival Center each year at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, because it’s a rare opportunity for us to revisit the Wonders of Life Pavilion! In addition, there are usually some seasonal Hidden Mickeys inside. Here’s one I spotted on the carpet just inside the entrance to the Festival Center. … Continue reading "New Hidden Mickeys at Epcot’s Future World"

Manatee Day at Epcot Helps Educate Guests

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., Sept. 6, 2012 – In ancient days, sailors may have mistaken manatees for mermaids, but many Epcot guests won’t be making that same mistake after visiting The Seas with Nemo and Friends during International Manatee Day on Sept. 7. The one-day event is designed to help dispel myths about these endangered … Continue reading "Manatee Day at Epcot Helps Educate Guests"

I’ve been working all of my spare time recently on the update for the Walt Disney World Hidden Mickeys book. Epcot has been my emphasis for the last few weeks. Of course, I take a short break here and there to enjoy the Epcot offerings. My friend and neighbor Jim and I sang along with … Continue reading "Researching Epcot Hidden Mickeys"

May Disney World Calendar

Posted on
For your May calendar, may I present my favorite character, Dory, and Nemo’s worrisome dad, Marlin. This undersea sculpture can be found outside of The Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot. It’s a great place for a group picture. In fact, you’ll almost always find a Photopass photographer stationed there. You will need to … Continue reading "May Disney World Calendar"
